Links For Schools

We’ll be developing an educational resource and looking at ways to help foster links between schools and Digital Estuary Businesses.

For the time being, James Greenwood from Strawberry has some interesting thoughts over on his blog.  He says:

I’d love to be involved in “something” (yes, I’m that vague) where local agencies can work with places of learning to improve the courses they offer students. I’d even put my money where my mouth is and do the occasional guest lecture. No, I’m not a teacher but my “medals” from the front line of web design is surely worth something to the schools, colleges and more importantly to the students themselves. I know I’m not the only one who is prepared to do this either.

I’m also prepared to open our doors for a day/half day/evening/whatever(!) and talk to current students who see this blog post and want some insider knowledge from those in the industry and to those students who want to have friends inside an agency who are willing to help them become better. Simply drop me an email or a tweet and it can be organised.
